Rebecca Green

This was the first construction project given to me at university; to produce a bodice that is historially accurate to the fashion of the 1860's. This project involved both pattern cutting on the stand and flat pattern drafting, and was made to fit the dummy. Skills learnt during the process of making this bodice include inserting darts, gathering sleeves, piping the neckline, making and attaching bias binding, and sewing hooks and bars.
