This is one half of a two-part design project I was given during my second year at university. The project was to design costumes for a small cast of characters for Macbeth, with this half of the project being to design for a modern-day contemporary film adaptation. The characters I designed for were Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Banquo, Duncan (formerly King Duncan), and the Witches, with my concept being that these characters are all part of one large, wealthy family living together in a grand manor house, with Macbeth and his wife willing to go to gruesome lengths to inherit Duncan's considerable fortune and various properties.
